This cabin sits alone on 40 acres adjoining Lacey Keosauqua State Park. It's on the main paved road walking distance to Lake Sugema a 600 acre fishing lake. It's nicely appointed with everything you need for a stay furnished. It has a private bedroom with a queen size log canopy bed. There is a futon on a glassed 4 season area for additional guests. Great hunting, fishing, and hiking abounds in the area.
Rented this cabin New Years weekend. Very happy with accommodations. Owner very nice. Will rent again.
A secluded cozy winter get away for me and my husband last year. A few times. Beautiful scenery.
We had and amazing spiritual retreat at this cabin. I highly recommend it to get away from the cities and road noise. It is located at the edge of keosauqua state park and it's remote location is perfect. The cabin is fully furnished and has all the necessary items to cook. Just bring your food and beverages to stock the fridge. A charcoal grill is also available. We will definitely reserve it in the future with plans to stay a week. We stayed 2 nights and didn't want to leave. Thank you Chuck , for renting this cabin out!
